John H. White

October 21, 1938 ~ June 17, 2004

"Weep, but briefly, for your loved ones as they enter the Kingdom of God.

For they shall possess a joy and peace that is unattainable on God's earthly realm.

Rather, rejoice in their everlasting and total happiness, for their eyes have seen God."

John White, friend, husband and father, has gone home to be with the LORD...

he will be missed for he was truly one of a kind.

John would have loved it... friends and family gathered around the tailgate of his truck Sunday afternoon and told war stories about him. We celebrated his going home and let Leslie and John's son, Michael, know how much he meant to all of us. It was just the kind of thing he would love... everyone standing around under his favorite tree with his dogs lying all around... as we all shared great stories about our friend, John White. We were blest to know him.

Leslie and John's son, Michael wish to thank all those who have expressed their love and concern and deeply appreciate all the offers of help and assistance. Those interested in remembering John and assisting Leslie can do so by making donations below, please designate it for the John White Memorial Fund.

"I Am Now With Thee"

I went to sleep In my chair last night

then I woke up to an unbelievable sight

For standing before my eyes I could hardly believe

was our Lord God Smiling back at me

He said "Welcome Home, my most faithful servant"

Your job is now done

So to me you've been sent

Your time on earth was greatly spent

You touched so many lives where ever you went

Father, son & Husband

All these you were to be

Until the day I called You home to be with me

Those left behind will miss you my friend

However now we begin Your life without end

They can now look up

Into the night sky and see

You smiling upon them and beside you will be me.

Written in loving memory
