Whether you are coming into down town San Antonio from north on IH 35, from the 281 North area or from IH 10 East or West your goal is the same... follow the 35 South route through down town as if you were headed to Laredo.
As you proceed out of down town on 35 South you will pass by several exits for various streets on the South side of town these are only for your information and reference points so you know you are on the right route.
You will pass by Theo, Malone, Division, Southcross, SW Military and then you will see signs for Palo Alto College. Shortly thereafter you will see an exit for Cassin and Somerset Road, this is not the exit to take just a reference point. Continue on 35 South until you see the Loop 410 exit.
THAT IS YOUR EXIT.
Take 410 East.
The first exit once you have gotten on 410 will be Somerset Road. Take that exit and turn right onto Somerset road.
You will go 4 miles south on Somerset Road and turn left on Senior Road.
You will be approximately 5 miles from the ranch at this point.
3 miles down Senior Road you intersect Loop 1604 (you have the stop sign).
Continue straight ahead on Senior Road for about a mile and a half and it will appear that the road turns to your left.
There will be yellow signs indicating that the road goes to the left but you can also go straight ahead.
DO NOT GO LEFT... GO STRAIGHT AHEAD.
The road will literally end in less than a half mile. When you get to the dead end turn to your right (you will see a sign with an arrow pointing to the right for MorningStar Ranch Ministries). The road is narrow and sandy but you only have to come two tenths of a mile and our gate is on your left.
If you miss the Senior Road (left) turn you will end up a few miles further down Somerset Road at a 4 way stop sign at Loop 1604. Just turn left and once you pass the Dairy Queen start watching for Senior Road. You would then turn right on Senior Road and follow the instructions above.
