GOD blest us with the opportunity to put Joe Gatzke back in the saddle again, one last time!
Joe at 88 years of age went home to be with the LORD at 1:30 A.M. August 22, 2008... he was one of the
last remaining "horse soldiers" from WWII... and is now riding the heavens with our LORD!
What a privilege that was and we thank the staff @ Legend Oaks Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center,
here in San Antonio, for letting us fulfill Joe's desire to get on a horse one last time before he went home!
It was an experience we will never forget... and an honor we will thank GOD for daily!

We have, by the GRACE of GOD, acquired this great team and wagon... Do I hear an AMEN?
Is GOD good or what? It will be a wonderful addition to all we do here... we are thankful that HE provided the way to get it... thank you for your prayers... we are so grateful for your prayerful support. It has come to us just as we are about to launch our "Equine Therapy Program for Disabled Vets"... and our "Rest and Relaxation Program" for their families... it is our desire to provide MorningStar Ranch as a resource for the families staying in the "Fisher Houses" while their loved ones heal... we are desirous of giving them a place to get away and relax for a day. We will provide it FREE of charge to the Vets and their families and that, friends, will be a mammoth leap of faith... but a most rewarding one... again please keep all of this in your prayers. Once again our GOD has shown HIMSELF strong for those whose hearts are truly HIS.
We awoke Sunday morning, April 20, 2008, to a wonderful surprise... "It's a Girl!"
This precious little Alpaca's registered name is FFTX Bandera... we call him "Bandy" and he is one of the newest additions to our ministry family.
He was provided through the generosity of Fantasy Farms Alpacas in Boerne, Texas.

GOD has given us a wonderful teaching on "Submission to Master" demonstrated by Pastor Jim teaching the Biblical principles of submission as we bring an untrained horse to the point of submission. He then shows the difference between this newly broken horse and a horse that has learned to listen to it's master's voice.
~
We are frequently blest with the opportunity to take our horses to schools, churches, retreats and other outings to teach the biblical principles of Submission to Master. Email us for more information about how you or your organization can arrange to schedule this powerful demonstration.
The ranch environment supplies so many opportunities unavailable in a church setting. There was great fun and fellowship had by all!
These mares are a perfect illustrustration of how well all of our stock, from bovine to equine and all varieties in between, maintain with the hay we get from Davidson Farms... we have been able to reduce the number of horses we grain by 70% because of the quality of this hay. We love our animals and are blest to have been introduced to this wonderful product.
